Swatch gets Full Blooded
Wow, has it already been 28 years since the first Swatch? And who would have thought that after all that time Swatch would still be around? Does anyone wear Swatch anymore? Questions, questions… But there surely must still be some fans out there cause Swatch turns out new collections like there’s no tomorrow.
Swatch’s latest collection is for some reason called Full Blooded and they are trying hard to convince us how “classic, timeless watches” are “more in trend than ever”. Apparently, in these 10 new models lurks a variety of styles and there will be something for everyone. Well, I disagree but does anyone ever listen? Not really!
Anyway, there is a woman’s collection, for a “trend-conscious woman” and it consist of three new models with glittering crystals for hour indexes and in three colors. In fact, there are more than three, nine would be more accurate.
Then you have a Skull sub-collection, another attempt to follow trends. Do you remember the time when Swatch used to create trends? Yea, me neither… But I digress. Two colors here, white and so fittingly black.
And finally, there are five models (is it enough these days just to change color of one model and call it a new model?) So, there are five colors for men, suspiciously similar to the former Ice watches winter collection…
So there you have it – Swatch Irony Diaphane in ten (or more) colors.

‘Does anyone wear Swatch anymore’!?
I love my swatches! I have recently posted a review for one of the swatches
in your catalog that I own. Great designs, affordable prices, and great customer care in swatch stores. Last time I went to the store to get may swatch buffed all personal wore three watches on their wrists. They told me their manager started the trend.

Well, I used to love Swatch too but it gets tiresome to see how they spin the same shtick over 20 years…
It’s kinda sad to see how one time pioneers are getting beat at their game by Nixon or similar brands.
