The first two “Lab” watches feature 39.89 mm x 55.00 mm barrel-shaped cases made of titanium with black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment and rubber sides. Both watches are water resistant to 50 meters and have transparent sapphire case backs. The cases are also equipped with a crown unusually positioned at 6 o’clock. Instead of a classic solid dial, Corum opted for a modern-looking open-worked dial which allows for the skeleton movement to be admired. The dial comes in grey anthracite enhanced with either red or white accents, depending on the model. Located at 5 o’clock, the micro-rotor features a modern spiral finish that accentuates the “speed” effect when it begins to rotate. Function-wise, the dial is pretty simple and straightforward: only hours and minutes.

Powering the latest Corum watches is the caliber CO 410 with 27 jewels. Unlike most movements, which are round to fit differently-shaped cases, the caliber CO 410 is specifically made to fit the case of the Heritage Corum Lab 01. The movement itself beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. The new Heritage Corum Lab 01 watches are both delivered on a black rubber strap embossed with the Corum key logo and secured with a triple folding buckle in titanium.
