In today’s time, when the entire world has become one global village, boundaries and borders are almost invisible, existing only in our minds. When travelling through different time zones, it is very important to keep track of the home time, date and local time. And while today’s modern era provides us with plenty of digital solutions for tracking different time zones, wearing an elegant mechanical GMT watch still remains the most elegant way of doing so. Travelling around the globe, the man of today can rely on his Frederique Constant Classics Automatic GMT to keep track of business meetings, travel schedules, or just some well-deserved spare time. Whether you are in an important business meeting, airport lounge, or just resting on a beach halfway across the world, you can always keep an eye at home with this elegant timepiece.

Ok, enough with the travelling, moving to the watch itself :) . Featuring a timeless classic design, the new Frederique Constant Classics Automatic GMT features a polished stainless steel 3-parts case. Both stainless steel and rose gold-plated options measure 42 mm in diameter and are water resistant to 50 meters. On the back of each case there is a transparent sapphire caseback revealing some of the movement’s components. Beneath the front convex sapphire crystal is an elegant silver-colored dial decorated with beautiful guilloché pattern in the center. Running around the edge of the dial is an hour track with black printed Roman numerals. The second timezone is indicated by a central hand pointing to an inner 24-hour GMT scale. Completing the dial we have the beautiful hand-polished black Breguet hands and date display at 3 o’clock.

Featuring an in-house GMT module, this self-winding movement works at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and guarantees a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The latest Frederique Constant Classics Automatic GMT is available with a stylish alligator leather strap, black for the stainless steel model and dark brown for the rose gold version. Both strap options feature a pin buckle matching the color of the case.
