Once again, we have Hublot and football together, but this time we’re actually talking about American football! The Swiss watch company has teamed up with Dallas Cowboys, five-time Super Bowl Champions and one of the most famous football franchises in the world. Hublot is actually the first luxury brand to make its appearance in American football, and they’ve certainly chosen a great partner. The company has become the naming rights partner of the VIP parking entrance at Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium. Furthermore, Hublot clocks will be set on the stadium walls, and they will also be shown on the HD jumbotrons above the field.
To celebrate the new sports collaboration, Hublot is launching three custom limited edition watches – the Classic Fusion Dallas Cowboys, Classic Fusion Ladies Dallas Cowboys, and the King Power Dallas Cowboys. There will be a total of 150 watches available, 50 per model, and they will be sold only in the Dallas market. Design-wise, all three timepieces are inspired by the iconic blue and silver colors of the team. Another thing in common for the three watches is the Cowboy Star on the dial, at 5 o’clock, reminding us of the 5 Super Bowl wins. The ladies’ model has this star set in diamonds, which certainly goes well with the overall design.
First, let’s take a look at the Classic Fusion Dallas Cowboys. This watch features a 45 mm case made of polished titanium, with satin finish. Titanium was also used for the two pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. However, the most eye-catching part of the watch is certainly the dial, which gives us an opportunity to take a closer look at the movement. Here we can also see the two sub-dials, and of course the Cowboy Star at 5 o’clock. As for the movement, this version of the Classic Fusion is powered by an automatic movement, the caliber HUB 1155, which has a power reserve of about 42 hours. Completing all this, we have a stylish black alligator leather strap, which is actually stitched onto black rubber.
Next, we have the Classic Fusion Ladies Dallas Cowboys. This model is equipped with a 42 mm case, and a bezel set with 42 diamonds. The bezel itself is made of titanium, while the case is ceramic. Again, we have two pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock, but when it comes to the dial, the situation is different. It’s a black dial this time, not so complex in its design, but what makes it more special is definitely the star at 5 o’clock, set with diamonds. Inside the watch, we find the caliber HUB 1153, another automatic movement. Completing the timepiece, we have a black alligator leather/rubber strap.
The trio of Dallas Cowboys Hublot timepieces is completed with the King Power Dallas Cowboys. This is also the largest watch in the collection, measuring 48 mm in diameter. It’s got a very sleek design, with its micro-blasted black ceramic case, with a matching dial. And speaking of it, unlike the previous two models, here you’ll find three counters. Powering this timepiece, we have caliber HUB4100, a mechanical chronograph movement. The strap situation is the same – the watch is complemented with a black alligator leather strap stitched onto rubber. Finally, all three watches feature a special packaging, a watch box that’s inspired by the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium, and which also includes a signed mini helmet. Pretty cool!
